Founded in 1946, B.M.S. College of Engineering (BMSCE) holds the distinction of being India's first private engineering college. Affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and autonomous since 2008, BMSCE has nurtured over 40,000 engineers across its 70+ year legacy.
Established in 1946, the Department of Civil Engineering has been a center of excellence for over seven decades. Accredited under the Washington Accord by NBA, the department offers UG, PG, and PhD programs supported by state-of-the-art laboratories and ISO 14001:2015 environmental certification.
